		Lavera's Hot Cakes Recipe  
		
		  
		
		Dry mixture 
		(Makes 5 batches, 20 hot cakes) 
		
		
		4 cups whole wheat flour 
		1 cup of quick oats ground up in a blender to make flour 
		1/2 cup corn meal  Note: 
		We reduced the Corn Meal by 50%.
		
		 
		1/4 cup sugar 
		1/4 cup baking powder 
		1TBL spoon salt 
		 
		Wet mixture.  
		(One batch of 4 medium hot cakes) 
		 
		1 cup of half and half 
		1egg 
		Tbsp of oil 
		Mix equal parts dry and wet mixture. 
		 
		Pour onto a hot griddle with 1/3 to 1/2 cup measure cup
